Patch 2.12 (New Cocktails + Balance + Bug Fixes)


Here we are again with a quick patch!
This time, we felt like the game's difficulty wasn't quite right.
The combat are more dynamic now, but so it means that you can die in much quicker ways than before.
So to counter-balance that we added a few changes to the Extra Lives system:
You start with 1 extra life now (0 before).
Bosses have a 50/50 chance to drop an extra life or a relic (Before they only dropped relics)
We added several cocktails to make it easier to accumulate lives during a run!


We also changed the "Comet Drop" ability of each character to be more aligned with their personality and play style.
As a reminder, the comet drop ability is the explosion created when you land on the ground while holding down.
We will work on it on the future, possibly toning it down to max 1 instance of the comet drop allowed at any time.

We also added a bunch of cocktails that are synergistic with the Sugar Overkill ability.
They are pretty expensive but are worth the cost!

We also did a quick balancing pass on the overall game.
Notably the health of some characters were changed.
Tox is now back at 75HP (Before it was 50).
